馬東石主演系列電影「犯罪都市4」上映19天全台票房已飆破3270萬！對於系列的主角「馬錫道」獨到的拳擊風格，馬東石表示：「『馬錫道』是拳擊手出身的角色，因為我從小就是學拳擊長大的，才會這樣設定這個角色。」

馬東石透露，「在『犯罪都市』前兩集中，為了呈現痛快的感覺，就使用較重擊的拳擊風格，看起來較不像一般的拳擊，所以在『犯罪都市3』中，就設計了較技術性、像真的拳擊一樣的動作場面。而在『犯罪都市4』則融合了這兩種風格，打造出衝擊度更大的動作戲！」

馬東石也表示為了「犯罪都市」系列而重新好好地練習拳擊，他還說：「而且比年輕時更認真地接受訓練了！和拳擊手激烈地練習對打時，偶爾會有一隻耳朵聽不到的狀況，這反而成為了我的能量，覺得不繼續的話身體就會很痛！」電影現正熱映中。
